About Linda
Clinical experience matters. So does how it is used.
“Good supervision has to make room for a therapist to say, ‘I’m not sure what to do here.’ My job is to make that candor useful.”
I am an LMFT, AAMFT Clinical Fellow, and AAMFT Approved Supervisor with decades of clinical experience, much of it focused on couples and relational work. I work with therapists who want to strengthen their clinical judgment and with experienced clinicians learning to become supervisors themselves.
My approach is collaborative, but supervision is not simply consultation. At times a supervisor has to evaluate, question, challenge, or give a clear direction. I believe those responsibilities should be transparent.
Linda also has experience supervising postgrad therapists seeking licensure. Her supervision combines relational and systemic thinking with direct attention to ethical responsibility, clinical judgment, and the supervisee's developing professional identity.
